So, who is a woman?
If you want a proper definition of this word, a dictionary meaning, it goes like this-
A Female human being, an adult female person.
But, is it all over with those words? No. A woman is beyond words. To phrase it out easily,
“Woman is a word, beyond words.”
If you see a woman as a tree, let she plant her with the stem of Empowerment.
If you see a woman as a bridge, let she build her foundation out of Empowerment.
If you see a woman as a sky, let she glow with the moonlight of Empowerment.
It is a woman, who teaches self-respect to mankind. And what does a man do in return to her? Lots of pain with a handful of happiness.
Is this why a woman is being born for? Everyday girl children are educated on awareness to stand as a symbol of knowledge, wisdom, and bravery amid this self-centered society.
And about Women Empowerment, it helps a woman to redefine her gender goals and making her powerful in all aspects of her life with self-confidence and determination.
Here, let’s discuss some types of empowerment where a woman could and, should reshape herself with.
The main responsibility of a lady is to preserve the humanity. As a mother, her position is unique. She brings up the children with extreme care. The attitude of having gender discrimination in society makes this main responsibility of a woman, as her only responsibility.
Outside her home there is a Social Life for all the women. She indeed have her social responsibility and social contribution. She has her own job and duty in this modern society. Gone are the days were people often say women are not meant to be in particular roles.
It is rightly said, “Keep your Heels, Head and Standard High.”
Multitasking is the magic with which all women are born with. Neither she leaves without completing her main responsibility nor, she steps in without handling her duties.
Many world leaders and speakers have argued that without gender equality and women empowerment, it is impossible to maintain development sustainability in the nation.
Right to Education, is one of the important rights a girl child is still denied in some parts of the globe. UNESCO estimates, 130 million girls falling between the age group of 6 to 17 are denied education.
“Deny education for girl child, deny the economical growth.”
It is as simple as the above statement.
Education is a keyword to Women’s Empowerment.
Education empowers a woman in boosting her self-esteem and self-confidence and trains her to be self-sufficient.

Economic Empowerment meaning is as such,
The ability for women to enjoy their right to control and benefit from the resources, assets, income, and their own time, along with the ability to manage all the social risks and improve their economic status and well being.
“Woman is a strong decision-maker; A decision-maker who is mostly deprived of making decisions.”
Just because she is a Woman, some people tie her hands out of all the economic well being which she is supposed to be ruling. Education, inherited property, bargaining on her choice of freedom, a job outside her home, microcredits are all her Economical empowerments.

Political empowerment supports creating policies that would best support gender equality and agency for women in both the public and private spheres.
Gender equality and women’s empowerment go hand in hand. A woman with a good political base is hard to find. So hard, that it would be like diving deep in the ocean finding a pearl.
In common, all her decisions are influenced by others behind her. And nevertheless, it would be for a woman in politics. Political empowerment in women is like giving the deprived decision maker a light, which lightens up her path and also for the others who are deprived of the light.
Politically, a woman needs to stand up for what she is and what she can make out from others. A justice for all.

The United States celebrates August 26th as Women’s Equality Day to commemorate the 19th Amendment’s rights for women to vote nationally. International Women’s day is widely celebrated on March 8th every annum. It is a day dedicated to honoring the achievements of women globally. It is a mark for all women from all different backgrounds and cultures to join together to fight for gender/women equality and women’s rights.
Psychological empowerment builds self-confidence, self-esteem, and self-determination in a woman. She recognizes her self-worth and capabilities.
This empowerment, together blends both social and economic empowerment aspects in one hand. It brings out the underlying positivity in her.
“Positivity in a woman lets her give the toughest fight in this toughest society.”
Self-esteem in women paves the way to think about themselves and how worthwhile they feel. Help women to recognize their self-worth, and give them the chance to take control of their income and body.
It’s not that women concentrate more on household chores and family care than men. It is just that men use their time to go ahead professionally. And it works because, as women we let it happen for them.
All the empowerment categories discussed intertwine with one another, but it’s equally important to consider them individually as well. Focus on what work has to be put into these five categories can provide a boost in the right direction.
There are lots of Foundations worldwide who constantly work for improving the status of women. Here is the list of NGO Foundations for women. In this fast-growing economic world, a woman who has digital knowledge can better lead herself and guide others in her race to do so. There are various women empowerment programs conducted by Government to educate women for this cause. Encourage her to actively participating in them and to make the best use of it.
Don’t waste your time worrying of the past,
Reshape and live the present,
Think and craft tomorrow’s future.
Let women go beyond what’s expected of them in society.
